We think not. It may have hit a plateau, maybe, but the same is still living in the minds and hearts on those who have been influenced by it, much less affected by its rebellious psyche. It is a generational music, which has captivated millions around the world. It is a part of culture generation and not a mere music that fades away.

Rock and roll can never die since it will always have a special place in a person’s life especially when it made a huge impact on that person. It will leave a mark on that person that can never be erased no matter how things change and time goes by.

Change is definitely the most certain thing in this world. People’s taste in music varies from one era to another. People’s taste in music adapts to the time or period it is in. We cannot really blame the younger generations if they don’t want a taste of rock music because their preferences should always be respected.

It is not right to impose something on someone just because we want its legacy to continue. If they want to listen to rock music, then it should be out of their own volition.

People are more interested now in exploring a variety of music and they don’t limit themselves to a particular genre. It is as if they’re in a buffet wherein they want to have a taste of everything.

Morevoer, people no longer listen to the radio. They are so caught up with their gadgets and would rather put their noses in the latest news about celebrities rather than listening to loud music. People have usually found rock music as something irritating because for them it’s too loud and it’s as if the singers are just merely shouting to prove a point.

People nowadays would rather go for subtle music. They want something relaxing because the world is already too loud for them and by playing rock music they would just add more noise. People crave for peace and they think that they cannot find that peace in rock music.

What is better rock or rap?

Rock music and rap are two distinct things and we cannot really compare them since they are unique in their own ways and are not similarly situated. Rock music is stronger in terms of its theme and context since it is usually sang in a loud manner. On the other hand, rap is a genre of music where the rapper uses words which rhyme and go together in order to convey a message. It is usually sang in a fast way.

It is really hard to determine which is better between rock music and rap since it would also depend on the person’s preference. To some rock music is better and to

others it is rap. There really is no point of comparing these two different genres since they are both used in different contexts and are sang in different ways.

We should not forget where things came from and acknowledge the fact that in one way or another, we wouldn’t be where we are and we wouldn’t have this kind of society or life if it weren’t for those things.
